I was looking for a replacement remote control for a television that I had bought too many years ago (and subsequently gave to my son for his DVD player). The first website that I tried was AV UK LTD because I had used them before for an obscure remote control and had experienced superb service. The remote control that I was after was not listed but I had faith that they could provide an alternative. It was a Sunday night in the UK when I sent my query concerning the remote control, stating the TV that it was to be used with. I was expecting an answer the following morning, as happens with most other UK websites. How wrong I was. Within an hour or so I had received a reply, with a replacement part number, price, free delivery and supply within 48 hours. I immediately purchased on-line which took only 30 seconds or so, received two confirmation emails within 2 minutes, and I know that the remote will arrive first post on Tuesday, at the latest. What an incredible service.
